I think it's something like 2-3K plate per nuclear fuel use. Those things EAT ore up, although they nuclear fuel use isn't too bad. Holy smelting batman! Just got Kovarex started up, my goal is to build up to 6, probably will end up needing more though.

So.I have some mods installed, and 1 of those includes Nuclear Furnaces. I just might need a dedicated iron stacker. I need to find a good RHD 4-lane book for megabase, but I figure the standing 2-lane system works fine for ore shipments. Yeah, I think that's how I'm going to have to go. Now that we're shipping green circuits to base, I can tear down that local production chain.Īfter greens, I did red and blue circuits, and then started building outposts to make the various science packs and rocket part constituents.Īh, so you essentially start it much the same way you start your initial burner and main bus bases: start with smelting but train-fed from the outset, and just start diverting production over time. That was a modular beast, so I started with I think 4 of the 3-belt modules and added the remaining 4 modules later on. Once both smelting operations were in place, I picked a reasonable location that was convenient to both and built my 24-blue-belt green circuit factory. Once both were built, I started train deliveries of iron plate to the base (eventually ripping up the original base iron smelter). I ran a train line way off into the wilderness (since resource patches get bigger as you go further out) and set up a new iron mine, and a new smelter closer in to the base. I did it one step at a time, starting with the first elements in the production chain (smelters and green circuits). I'm watching KoS's video, but that's some ninety-fucking-parts. Again, anyone with tips or suggestions on converting from a main bus to a train bus base would be appreciated.

But I would like to see what I can get accomplished.
